History
ATREA was started as a private enterprise in 1990 in the Czech Republic. From the very beginning it drew on the years of experience of its founder with the microclimate of buildings, and began to focus on the production of ventilation units with waste heat recovery. The company’s founder has authored many authorship certificates, patents and industrial designs in the field.
The Present
A manufacturing program based on the heat recovery phenomenon gradually began to take shape. As energy prices continued to increase, this direction proved to be right choice and top-quality products based on years of experience were more and more in demand. In 1996 the company started to move into new renovated premises with the manufacturing area of over 4,000 mc.
Certification to European standards took place and the products of ATREA s.r.o. started to make their mark also in the demanding markets of Western Europe. The economic and geographic proximity led ATREA to focus primarily on the German market where it has established itself really well as a result of a good partnership and top-quality products, with the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, UK, Italy, Poland, Slovenia and other countries to follow.
In 2011 ATREA marketed a new PHI certified DUPLEX-S Flexi concept, appealing to wholesalers and thus significantly increased its market share. The company’s export activities then focused on the remaining European markets and introductory negotiations take place with customers from overseas. A new factory project is currently being considered to meet ATREA’s growing demand for production capacity.
